  A major element of my role during this time was to devise strategies to tackle challenges of dynamic market. During my time in this role, I liaised with directors in 16 jurisdictions on multiple governance challenges including carbon risk, executive pay, board succession planning and diversity. I successfully expanded the work programme of the Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF). Achievements during this time included:☛ Led engagement resulting in first board supported UK institutional shareholder resolutions to two oil majors.☛ Increase in LAPFF membership from 39 to 81 and assets under management from £80 billion to £300 billion.

  As SRI policy executive, I developed PIRC's socially responsible investment service offering which included participation in Sustainable Investment Research International (SiRi). I wrote articles for in-house publications as well as providing a CSR rating on FTSE 100 companies for The Times. I enjoyed facilitating company and investor dialogue on a range of issues including director pay policies, environmental and labour standards
