After a few months as a part-time design intern, I transitioned to a full-time contract employee, focusing not only on design, but some marketing tasks as well. While decks, advertisements, video editing, etc., were still a part of my wheelhouse, I also was sending out (sometimes daily) marketing email campaigns through pardot, setting up salesforce campaigns, and tracking prospects. Additionally, I took on managing social media content, creating and posting on the company's social channel multiple times a week. As a small marketing team, this role was all about collaboration and team-work in order to tackle our multifaceted tasks and challenges. Show less

Nannying two small children was one of the most valuable learning experiences of my life, where I gained time management skills, honed in on my patience, and truly learned the value of fun in the workplace.
