Tessa’s creative vision and ability to adapt are a marketer’s dream! She joined our small but mighty team as a part-time designer, but as we uncovered her astute nature and eagerness to take on new challenges, it was a no-brainer to make her a bigger part of the team. The way she jumped into email marketing and social media content creation in a matter of days speaks volumes of the kind of teammate she truly is. These skills and more were such wonderful additions to her design and animation talents.

Tessa came to ListenFirst strictly to help with our design needs, but because of circumstances, also took over digital marketing responsibilities, a role she had no previous experience with. Running our email campaigns, as well as managing Salesforce and Pardot related responsibilities, she knocked it out of the park, quickly becoming an indispensable part of the team. Tessa's positivity and ability to learn new things make her an ideal candidate for any role that requires flexibility.

After a few months as a part-time design intern, I transitioned to a full-time contract employee, focusing not only on design, but some marketing tasks as well. While decks, advertisements, video editing, etc., were still a part of my wheelhouse, I also was sending out (sometimes daily) marketing email campaigns through pardot, setting up salesforce campaigns, and tracking prospects. Additionally, I took on managing social media content, creating and posting on the company's social channel multiple times a week. As a small marketing team, this role was all about collaboration and team-work in order to tackle our multifaceted tasks and challenges. Show less

As a Design Intern for T.W.I.N., a sustainable fashion brand in NYC, I was tasked mostly with creating video content- coming up with seasonal campaign video ads, fun animations for social media, and GIFs. I also made flyers, graphics, assisted on photoshoots, and gained a bit of experience with Shopify. While a student at Parsons, I worked as a nanny part-time, and then full-time after graduation when Covid hit and jobs were scarce. Nannying two small children was one of the most valuable learning experiences of my life, where I gained time management skills, honed in on my patience, and truly learned the value of fun in the workplace. At Ark Foods, a modern-day farming company, I primarily edited packaging design, retouched photos, worked on decks, and made flyers for events. This internship was cut short due to Covid, but was a great learning experience as my first design internship.
