Responsibilities involved oversight of the 5 main schools and 16 Network affiliates, including day to day operations and management in the 5 schools. Most notably, worked closely with the Board of Directors to develop and executed a growth strategy where I researched, sited and implemented new schools in the Major U.S. cities Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Philadelphia. • Managed sales and marketing to promote new schools; liaised with major robot to build new websites. Ensured websites were accurate and checked functionality. • Implemented new enrollment systems and sales tactics which resulted in growing the company by 47% in Quarter 2, 2012 and 25% in Quarter 1 in 2013. • Responsible for ensuring the 5 schools had sufficient supplies for each course; managed accommodation for students and Teacher Trainers for these schools. • Liaised with personnel at sites where Teaching House runs courses to ensure availability of space, payment of rent and associated considerations. • Lead marketing campaigns; Managed and grew social media. • Responsible for maintaining appropriate Cambridge documentation and liaising with Cambridge; responsible for paying and tracking all invoices for Cambridge CELTA courses, Assessor’s flights and accommodation. • Responsible for company’s budget; submitted a monthly sales report and a monthly accommodation report to the Center Director. • Maintained a working relationship with trainees during courses and assisting with non- academic issues. • Managed and worked closely with Cactus Language School to ensure appropriate provisions were met for the joint venture’s running of foreign language classes at Teaching House.
