Responsible for assessing security risk, for research and for recommending countermeasures in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Army requirements, ensuring that U.S. Army systems are compliant with NIST Special Publication 800-53 rev4 cybersecurity controls as a cybersecurity validator. Provide support to Information System Security Officers (ISSO) and Information System Security managers (ISSM), receive requests for information on the Joint Worldwide Intelligence System (JWICS) and distribute to researchers.
