  My research focused on investigating an organization called the Shack Dwellers Federation of Namibia (Federation) and how it charges poor Namibian women (Federasi) to work together as a collective in building a brick home. I am interested in determining whether the Federation helps develop Federasi into leaders. Therefore, I wish two answer two questions: Do Federation women consider themselves leaders? And what traits help to explain self-defined leadership?
