      I am responsible for executing the day-to-day operations of the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership program in the Rossier School of Education.       As the Director of Student Academic Services at Loyola University Chicago, I collaborated with many campus partners to develop solutions that help students succeed. We served over 16,000 students in seven colleges and schools. The position has been re-titled as Director of Learning Support and Academic Success. In this role, I focused on six key areas by providing oversight for four departments, coordinating retention initiatives, and providing leadership for the Loyola Experience. These departments included:- The Center for Tutoring and Academic Excellence;- Services for Students with Disabilities;- Military Veterans' Student Services (a new office created in August 2014); and- The Student Services Hub, which provides coordinated, student-focused services in a variety of functional areas (financial assistance, registration and records, course placement, etc.). In this role, I also provided day-to-day building management for the Sullivan Center for Student Services. In addition, I collaborated with a variety of campus partners regarding student persistence to graduation and managed retention initiatives such as academic alerts, non-enrolled student outreach, surveys, and other targeted intervention programs.I also co-chaired the implementation committee of the Loyola Experience: Four Year Guide to Student Transformation, a collaborative effort among the Divisions of Student Development and Academic Affairs to support student engagement in high impact activities and encourage degree attainment within four years.
