Greek Life Girl started in July 2012 with 2 sororities, Kappa Kappa Gamma and Kappa Alpha Theta. Greek Life Girl is an extension of the company Memento, a personalized monogram gift business. In order to make sorority items for the National sororities vendors need to be approved and licensed with the Greek licensing agency. Memento’s main focus was bridal and holiday gift items. Every time we were approached to make sorority items we referred them to other business’ as we were not at the point we could devote the time and attention to adding sorority licensing and marketing to our product offerings. In 2012 Memento grew from 2 full time employees to 7. In the summer of 2012 we were approached by a Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter that wanted cosmetic bags. We wanted to create a website that had great products and easy category navigation listed per sorority. It made sense to separate the new Greek line from our Memento monogram line of products. Thus Greek Life Girl was created! We currently have 9 Sororities listed on the site, but we are licensed for 17. We are working on adding the other 8 as soon as we can. We are pending approval for 1 additional sororities which will be a total of 18 licensed national sororities for Greek Life Girl. Show less
