Terresa studied for many years the numerous techniques available for teaching and training people in English Literacy. This included research on brain based learning, learning styles and multi sensory learning resulting in the development of the Saltt Learning System now she is the author of thirteen books on the subjectt. As Executive Director of the Solid Gold Learning Centre, she has taken a keen interest in cross-cultural issues, globalization and integration of new immigrants into the workplace through literacy and better communication skills. She will develop curriculum to suit management related skills for staff whom English is their Second language. The Saltt program has been used by people from around the world.Her extra-curricular community commitments have included: One of the founding board Advisors to the Silbury Learning and Resource Centre and board member of the Gifted Children Association of BC. She has volunteered her time with new immigrants by assisting them with integrating into an English Speaking world and the workplace. The Saltt System has been reviewed and practiced by Doctors, Speech Pathologists and Educators as well as students from around the world. Show less

During this time that the Saltt Learning Center was opened Terresa wrote her books on the Saltt System. She worked one on one and in small groups up to 25 people teaching and training in the Saltt method. Many Teachers and Tutors today use the Saltt System with their students.
