Media and Marketing • Design and deliver the Foundation’s overall media strategy in order to raise our profile and increase our reach and impact • Produce proactive and authoritative press releases, briefings, articles and other materials as required to fit with our reports and analysis • Plan and deliver reactive media campaigns and responses – e.g. in the run up to and aftermath of Budgets or Spending Reviews, Government policy proposals, or external reports • Manage and build the Foundation’s relationship with journalists and media outlets • Oversee the Foundation’s online strategy, including through our websites & new media campaigns (twitter, film clips, podcasts etc) • Work closely with the Director of Research and Strategy and researchers to understand the analysis and help shape work to ensure it will have a high public impact. 2. External relationships & other communications • Build and maintain key strategic relationships, including with the private sector, politicians, civil servants and other charities, to promote the Foundation’s work, form partnerships, and potentially seek sponsorship • Ensure staff members are kept up to date with relevant political and policy-related developments • Ensure the timely delivery of the Foundation’s media plans to fit with internal and external events and hooks • Identify opportunities to further the Foundation’s external impact.
