Working with and managing Terje was a joy. Terje consistently executes successful social media campaigns with well-defined strategies at their heart. One campaign which immediately stands out was delivered very soon after lockdown started. I was incredibly impressed with her meticulous and thoughtful strategy to provide a real sense of community, which delivered the most successful Smart Energy GB social media campaign to date. Terje is fantastic at building meaningful connections with colleagues and peers (in-house and agency), and can flex her style to get the most and best from people. Even though I was Terje's manager, I was very grateful for her ability to manage up. At the core of this is Terje's commitment to and care for her work, which are second to none. Terje's career progression at Smart Energy GB has been incredible, going from Social Media Assistant to Social Media Manager (with a stint as Social Media Executive while I managed her) in under 3 years – not easy to do in a small size organization with plenty of talented colleagues. When I left Smart Energy GB she was the obvious choice to take on my role, and I was very proud to see her develop the required skills for the job and keep growing. As a summary, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Terje for any role which would benefit from someone who: - Has heaps of experience developing and executing and/or managing successful and high-profile social media strategies across all key platforms - Has extensive knowledge of what makes digital content work, and how to best deliver this to target audiences - Can build very productive and positive relationships with any and all colleagues, whether internal or external - Knows how to build strong community relations while staying true to brand - Is always eager to learn, and can work on constructive feedback without ego

In my role I oversaw and worked on various areas of social including organic & paid social, social crisis comms and social listening. As well as the above, I was part of strategic and creative paid social campaign planning and project management of these campaigns while managing relationships with our social, media and community management agencies. My role also included advising and collaborating with various other teams, including the partnerships team, design team, policy team and the PR team for campaign and influencer marketing support.Supporting and guiding my direct report was a big part of my role (and something I truly enjoyed!), as well as liaising with internal and Gov stakeholders.

I was a marketing intern with a variety of different roles and responsibilities including:1) Social media I managed all the SAM Labs social channels including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. I created copy and content calendars for the upcoming weeks keeping in mind the specific requirements for each channel (channel audience, the most optimal posting time etc). This required attention to detail, ability to think ahead and communication between the creative department and the marketing team. I monitored the activity around the brand and engaged with customers and influencers where necessary. I worked hard to maintain the brand voice and to make the channels look at its best. As well as that I analysed our performance on a weekly basis throughout platforms.2) Ambassador programManaging and maintaining relationships with new and existing ambassadors. I was in charge of recruiting new people, carrying out interviews, writing case studies, organising video shoots.3) Influencer marketingI was responsible for growing our influencer network. This includes researching potential partners, performing outreach and maintaining the relationship once a partnership had been established.4) Newsletter I was responsible for the successful delivery of the weekly newsletter. This included idea creation, copywriting and assembling it on Mailchimp. 5) Media (and other) support during eventsDuring one of the biggest education events, I was in charge of the media support. This included engaging with the tweets of the attendees, tweeting owned media tweets (170 tweets in total across 4 days) and making sure everything went out on schedule. I carried out demos of our product to the attendees and helped with other ad hoc duties throughout.6) Website support in ShopifyI was supporting the maintenance of our website across all sites. This included adding/removing pages, updating assets and helping out with other ad hoc duties.
