For the past four years I have had the great privilege to manage a team of extraordinary medical writers, medical editors, educational and instructional designers and CPD specialists. This team have worked passionately, intelligently and tirelessly to regularly and successfully deliver accurate, balanced, evidence-based digital and print-based information and education that met audience needs while also being aligned with contract objectives. This role has allowed me to develop effective liaisons and collaborations at team, stream and organisation levels and with relevant external stakeholders as well, to ensure successful development and delivery of products. Some of my editorial responsibilities also included managing reproduction permissions, helping to establish a Scientific Publications Review Group to formalise good publication practices and maintaining our inhouse style guide.Most recently I have also helped ensure a successful transition of existing online content and education to new custodians as part of organisation closure.
