CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER – LEAD TECH Delivered exceptional results performing routine and specialized cardiac sonography procedures in an extremely busy cardiology medical practice with patient care clinics in Roseville, Lincoln, and Auburn. • Support as many as 10 Cardiologists in the Roseville clinic and produce quality images used for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of cardiac injury or disease. • Perform as many as 10 echo procedures daily; prepare 2-D, M-mode, continuous and pulsed wave Doppler, and color Doppler images; and create preliminary reports for review and interpretation by Cardiologists • Apply highly developed clinical skills and knowledge of human anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, and normal anatomy on challenging diagnostic procedures and situations to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. • Setup patient procedures; safely operate GE and Philips sonography equipment; and archive all digital images into the GE Echo PAC system. • Lead Tech and primary knowledge resource to other Cardiac Sonographers in Lincoln and Auburn. Respond quickly to technical inquiries and help resolve issues involving echocardiogram procedures and equipment issues. • Collaborate with the Medical Director and other senior staff to achieve accreditation of the lab through Intersocietal Accreditation Commission or IAC Echocardiography. • Simultaneously worked as a Per Diem Echo Technician at Sutter Roseville Medical Center performing echos, bubble studies, transesophageal echos.
