  The Air Force Academy Stables include a dude string for customers to rent horses by the hour and facilities to board horses. In my tenure here I helped with both aspects in all capacities except precision tractor driving. I spent days cleaning stalls, feeding, saddling, helping customers, working horses, and even spent some time learning to shoe.It is also worth mentioning that though my tenure here was short due to college, I volunteered here enthusiastically for 7 years of high school and middle school prior to my paid time, and have spent a few summers volunteering there since then as well.
