I care for the Laurel main campus which is seven acres. Additionally I maintain three residences. Landscape maintenance, design, installation, and only use integrated pest management practices. Everything I do at Laurel I do with the care and safety of the students in mind. In the winter months I take care of my equipment, assist with events and their set ups, managed the online calendar, do occasional heating, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. I also help to facilitate construction and renovation project. My favorite part of working at Laurel is the interactions I have with the young boys and girls. Having them outside helping to plant and care for the gardens is definitely the best part of my job. Show less

The main focus of my position was to maintain the greens. From setting up the course in the morning to hand watering on a daily basis, scouting for disease, and helping to gain audubon certification. Integrated pest management was the most important aspect of what we accomplished. The main focus of my position was to maintain the greens.
