  Inspected Optics for surface quality. Performed mechanical measurements and all testing per print specifications. Areas tested include metrology, using laser UV, VIS and IR to analyze coating performance. Interferometry using ZYGO. Spectrophotometry, to analyze the coating performance using the Varian "Kary 14." Performed calculations for wedge, angles for prisms. Analyzed coatings for %R and %T loss and Dopant on the crystals using VIS IR lasers. Testing bulk absorption for crystals using the Alexometer program. Interfaced with engineering department on optics-related issues including evaluation of new products. Inspection issues and WIP MRB. Put together a training program on how to handle optics, inspect and evaluate Surface Quality per Mil-specification. Show less
