Tessa is a highly versatile master teacher who is capable of engaging diverse learners. She has taught high school English and social studies students at the highest levels, as well as students who are studying academic English for the first time. Students are often left stunned by Tessa's intellect, content knowledge (no matter what she is teaching), and passion for writing and poetry. Although Tessa often teaches advanced classes, she does not teach to only the top students. She has spent the last several years finding ways to help struggling students, whether it be due to acquisition of English, learning challenges, or other issues, become better readers and writers. Tessa will be a huge asset to any teaching faculty.

I am proud to recommend Teresa Harings for any teaching position or associated work as an educator. Teresa is a consummate transformational educator with a range of skills and experiences in K-12 education, experiential learning, English Language Learning, and the challenges of education in a global environment with a wide range of needs. At Walworth Barbour American International School (WBAIS) where Teresa and I were colleagues, I observed in Teresa key qualities of an effective educator and skills of curiosity, active thought leadership, and strong research and writing skills that improved our entire teaching and learning community.
