In my current role as a key member of the Technical Management Team, I lead the Transport Network Engineering team in planning, designing and optimizing the transport network infrastructure with over 4000km fibre lines, active devices (IP/MPLS/Optical/Microwave/Sync) supporting mobile, fixed/enterprise, data center connectivity and submarine cable/IPLC connectivity across multiple vendor/network domains. Utilize sound management skills to control network project budgets, devise cost-effective strategies without compromising overall service quality and prepare business cases and board papers for C-Level management approval. In addition, I strengthen cross-functional engagements with key stakeholders including IT, Regulatory, Legal, PMO, Finance, & Procurement ; vendors and suppliers to ensure successful and timely delivery of business projects to meet Company Business goals, Strategy and Regulatory compliance. Effectively direct strategic connectivity partnerships with key stakeholders Microsoft, Facebook, SAPZ, Rural Telephony Partners to define overall end-to -end transport connectivity specifications. Finally, I balance business needs with technical constraints, identify risks, as well as resolve network constraints and improve network resilience. Show less

Plan and design the EMTS IP/MPLS core network and SDH/DWDM/IP transport infrastructure that supported ETISALAT Nigeria network (2G/2.5G/3G) and service rollout for Alcatel Lucent, Huawei, Nokia, and Siemens. I built and dimensioned, and routed Etisalat Nigeria’s Cable network connectivity, as well as other OSP-related activities.I focused on setting future transport network strategies, developing transport architecture, and network roadmaps that met capacity demands and business objectives for OPEX and CAPEX. I achieved this by performing analysis of forecasts to outline capacity requirements reports for additional leased line, MW radio expansion, and equipment purchase/implementation. Finally, I lead the deployment of leased line facilities for local, national, and global connectivity, while producing LLD plans for migration of legacy (TDM) transport to NGN network solutions (IP).
