Project One: Conducting an analysis using lean tools of a three-prong project that seeks to improve efficiencies in software development timelines for the Midlevel Tactical Group of the NAACCR. Analyze a hospital-based survey of approximately 100 hospital-based tumor registrars and assess recordings from expert interviews of the central registry and vendor representatives. Summarize the findings using LEAN tools to do a root cause analysis, a barriers and opportunities analysis, and make recommendations to improve timelines. Project Two: Identify methods to financially quantify NAACCR’s value to the cancer surveillance community. Requires critical analysis and financial application of real-world findings due to the current non-existing model to support this study. Show less
