Short Courses and Junior Conservatoire Programme Assistant
-
Feb 2020 - Feb 2022
I worked in the Short Courses and the Junior Conservatoire departments. The Short Courses department was open to any member of the public and hosted a number of weekly classes over a range of performing arts. The Junior Conservatoire was an intensive selective programme for 12-18 year olds focused on building their performance skills to ready them for a professional career. As the Programme assistant for both departments, my role was to give administrative support to the departments and oversee the general day to day running of the departments. • Supported a number of different classes including film, production, theatre, musical theatre and dance • Completed administration tasks: updated registers and filed absences. • Greeted students and parents as their first point of contact • Answered queries and dealt with complaints over email and phone. • Set up rooms and created room bookings • Helped transition the Junior Conservatoire and Short Courses onto online lessons. • Set up the short courses Microsoft teams pages for their online lessons • Oversaw the smooth running of the online courses.
