I had the unique pleasure of working with Teena at CCME. Teena was a direct report with responsibility for managing our software development and analytics teams. I found her to be a deeply technical resource on all matters of IT with special focus on .Net software development. She managed staff resources required across multiple contracts and led development efforts in support of new versions of our software but more importantly, the development of new products that supported business. Created an application, using VB.Net and Microsoft Access database (later migrated to SQL Server), for pulling large amounts of prescription/sales data from external national and international pharmaceutical industry sales data sources, which were then filtered based on preconstructed business rules, keyed by referencing an Access database, and then exported into files for loading into Oracle. This application saved the company thousands of dollars as the process that took around 10 analysts 2–3 weeks to complete was streamlined to complete in a couple of hours by the click of a button.
