Main Responsibility: Creating, updating, and reviewing professional construction documents including but not limited to power, fire and life safety, lighting, and telecommunications for a variety of projects throughout British Columbia. Duties: Current focus is on the design of all electrical systems, for a variety of projects. Also involved individually and on a team work basis with in depth fire alarm design to meet current ULC standards. Regular use of the British Columbia Building Code and the Canadian Electrical Code is implemented. Regular site visits are performed to monitor the construction process, as well as the drafting of field reports, site instructions, change orders, and addendums. Review of shop drawings is commonplace, as well as approving contractor pricing for a variety of devices including lighting, lighting controls, distribution equipment, and much more. Perform regular contact with owners, trades, and other engineering disciplines to deliver an energy efficient, cost effective, aesthetically pleasing final product. Have spearheaded and managed the design of a dentist's office, in a position that allowed me to function as the project manager. Standards to follow included Z32 grounding, as well as all previously aforementioned codes and standards related to the province of British Columbia.

Main Responsibility: Carry out growth and testing on both mesenchymal stem cells and genetically modified cancer cells, to aid in discovering a means of regrowth of cartilage in patients with osteoarthritis. Duties: Luminescence and fluorescence tests were performed to screen compounds that regulate synovial mesenchymal stem cells for the treatment of osteoarthritis. Weekly meetings with supervisor to present a technical report of the work and research concluded within the past week. Results given in tables and graphs to allow for clear, concise data presentation.
