      Amazon is the biggest online retailer in the US and Europe. Based in the Marketplace team in the UK, I focused on supporting 3rd party sellers to expand their accounts into Europe. My role was split 60:40 across my core role and special projects. In my core role, I worked directly with sellers assigned to me by management to unlock growth opportunities through Amazon’s European marketplace. In particular I: • Owned a pipeline of 150 sellers totalling $118MM in Gross Merchandise Sales (GMS), of which ~50% were actively engaged• Generated $22.4MM GMS vs. goal of $21MM (+6%) in 2020 equating to 38% conversion of my active leadsIn terms of projects, I worked on three key initiatives reporting to senior stakeholders. VAT Compliance:A marketplace-wide initiative to enable sellers access to Europe which led to 5.4k accounts receiving seven VAT numbers representing a business opportunity of around $162M in Gross Merchandise Sales per annum. As part of this, I also managed the recall of $673k in unpaid funds to the supporting VAT advisors.Pan-European FBA Commercial Goal:A team-focused initiative where I was responsible for the team hitting target. This involved having a view over the total value of opportunities in the team's pipelines and organising meetings or events to encourage sell-through.
