I have moved to this role to help with process automation aligned with the company's needs. This position gave me a variety of roles. Basically, I am responsible for:1. Get into the business requirements:- I showed my empathy and patience in order to help with understanding business processes in each department.- I determined the users' needs and turned them into a logical and technical business model that can be achieved through software (Microsoft, or SaaS platform).- I ensured the system's usability by delivering end-user training and ensuring a smooth transition for the user. Project management:- I assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to the company's budget, schedule, and scope, which were aligned with realistic goals.- I discussed the assigned duties and supervised the workflow of my team.- I set and tracked project milestones, managed and accounted for unforeseen delays, then realigned schedules and expectations as needed.3. System testing:- I prepared the test case and was involved in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by guiding the users throughout the testing.- I acquired the need for fixing from the end-user and asked for fixing at this time.4. Support for the systems: - I provided technical support for all types of IT issues affecting end users. - I escalated the issue to Microsoft support, or SaaS platform support if it's a complex issue. - I ensured that the problem was 95%-100% resolved by performing some monitoring and testing as needed.- I updated the knowledge base or user guidelines after the issue is resolved.5. IT administration and clerical work- I planned the usage of the SharePoint site and managed the documents and their permissions for more secure sharing. Show less
