I had the opportunity of shadowing a doctorate student at Fulton State Psychiatric Hospital. I worked on the Social Learning Program, which primarily treats Schizophrenia. I was able to learn more about the forensic population and learning what it is like to work at an inpatient hospital. Coyote Hill is a non profit foster home for children. I had the opportunity to intern there over the summer and was able to be a role model, as well as provide educational and emotional support to the children.
