Whitney Alberter

During my time at Playful Studios, I had the great pleasure of working with Tim on two projects. Being an indie studio, this typically meant wearing a multitude of hats- all of which, Tim not only excelled at with technical and artistic competency, but also became a leader in. Through our years at Playful, I saw myself and various other colleagues, look to Tim for guidance and proficiency. He is a leader in every right but unmistakably humble. Tim has an eye for anticipating every need in the development pipeline and has contributed to our studios’ roster of games with 3d modeling, animation and technical art. Beyond his artistic nature and masterful ability, he’s a leader. A cheerleader for other artists which is a essential to any healthy studio. All of this has made Tim a go-to artist during our time together and I can say without a doubt that his diligence in game development has inspired many a person, in and outside the studio. Above all, Tim is exceedingly kind. Any studio would be lucky to have him.

Tim is genuinely one of most talented artists I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Not only is he a brilliant 3D artist, but his technical skills were immensely helpful on every project at Playful. Any task or problem that was thrown Tim’s way was masterfully taken on and the team relied on his talent daily. Tim always took time to help me learn new skills and working closely with him and solving tough problems together has undoubtedly been a highlight of my career. I was constantly impressed with Tim’s knowledge, skill, and dedication to his work. I have always looked up to Tim as a remarkable example of the kind of artist I want to be as I grow in my career. If you are looking for a incredible yet humble and down to earth artist, look for further. Tim’s work is both beautiful and technically sound. I could not recommend Tim enough and I hope I get the chance to work with him again in the future.
