      Pride Alliance is an on-campus group devoted to discussing LGBTQ+ issues, promoting activism in the queer community, and maintaining a safe space in which all students can thrive. Pride provides a relaxed and safe environment for anyone to share and learn about issues related to gender and sexual minorities in today's world. With the help of its members, Pride plans several Late Knight events such as Second Chance Prom and Drag Ball. We also offer many other on campus events such as the "LGBT? Fine By Me" panel discussion, speakers for National Coming Out Day along with Pride Night, which is an event to celebrate both the club and the cultures it promotes. Ultimately, our goal is to make the campus a better and more informed environment so all students can call Geneseo their home.As Vice-President my job is to oversee all aspects of social life for the group including but not limited too: Running meetings, hosting and planning social events, creating social events outside of our pride meetings, creating and maintaining relationships with other groups (cultural or not) within the SUNY Geneseo campus
