Served as part of a research team under a NIH-funded grant to study cross-cultural behaviors and attitudes regarding the risk perception and moralization of smoking among Danish and American smokers and non-smokers. Developed and administered surveys to over 500 participants in their respective countries and the resulting data was validated, normalized, and analyzed. Impacts of this research have affected U.S. public health legislation and funding for smoking cessation programs.
