Supervised and trained a team of researchers and volunteers to collect lab reports from 4,588 New York State school buildings; organized and managed a database of over 63,000 testing results; and performed data analysis to model the impact of a more protective standard for lead in schools. Analyzed lead testing data and produced maps and visualizations employing various advanced programs including QGIS; ESRI ArcGIS Online; Tableau Public; Microsoft Excel; OpenRefine; and the coding languages Arcade, CSS, and HTML. Developed an online interactive web mapping portal to substantiate the impact of lead contamination in New York State schools, educate the public about issues of childhood lead poisoning, and encourage citizens to apply pressure to their elected officials to support a more protective standard for lead in schools.
