I accompanied the EMTs and Paramedics on their emergency calls to assist patient's with a variety of emergencies such as sepsis, motor vehicle accidents, falls, stroke, cardiac arrest, and more. During our down-time, the EMTs and Paramedics were gracious enough to teach me some skills such as reading EKGs, applying tourniquets, taking vitals, inserting IVs, and more.
