My responsibilities whilst working for Daily Goods included opening and closing my station at the beginning and end of every shift. I also rang up every customer, had to of course remember the ingredients to our signature smoothies, cleaning our surfaces at the beginning and end of every day, Keeping track of inventory and pre-cut our fruits and vegetables so that there'e a container of each smoothie and juice ingredient and a back up of each as well. Both of the positions that i've assumed while working for Pondicheri meant that I was responsible for the following tasks. Cleaning and distributing menus. Setting up tables to coincide with the seating arrangements our reservations allowed. Confirming reservations with guests 24 hours prior to their visit. Making all in-house non-alcoholic beverages (homemade teabags, lassi's, drip coffees, mango panna, and espresso beverages). I must also familiarize myself with their POS system and ring up customers ordering items for delivery and takeout throughout the day. I also set-up and dismantled their extensive bakery display section every shift, the goods of which I could give a good description of to our customers. When I would have free time, I cleaned the silverware, helped servers send out dishes, prep garnishes for dishes, bussed tables if the busser was busy and prepare the dining compact for the transition from lunch to dinner.
