Taylor worked with me as a student teaching assistant on a complex, engineering design project capstone course for 55 engineering students. The course is complex, and has 14 different projects, teams, advisers, etc. Taylor did a fantastic job tracking data, working independently, getting work done on time and was highly reliable. Her communication with me as supervisor was excellent. She was able to make independent decisions and I was pleased at her level of intuition and ability to manage under the complexity. This became especially important in spring 2020 when we each worked from remote locations - yet, I was able to have a high level of trust that all of the needed work would get done!!! I highly recommend Taylor as a graduating engineer from the University of Wisconsin-Madison!!

Babcock Dairy Plant operates as a small scale, educational plant that provides all the dairy products for the University of Wisconsin Madison and allows students to get hands on experience. While working at Babcock, I assisted the head cheesemaker on all aspects of production, from making an assortment of cheeses all the way to packaging and labeling the final product. Following two years of packaging work at Belgioioso Cheese, I moved into the quality assurance department. In this position, I completed hourly testing on mozzarella cheese to verify quality and make needed changes. I also helped troubleshoot problems with the packaging lines, as well as run packing lines when extra help was needed. During Winter and summer breaks, I worked as a general laborer for Belgioioso. In this position, I aided in all parts of cheese packaging, which included, but was not limited to, cutting, wrapping, sealing, and boxing. I also learned about and met food safety standards and operating procedures. During Winter and summer breaks, I worked as a general laborer for Belgioioso.
