  In my time with Knob Noster High School, I have taught Algebra and Geometry. I transitioned to a paperless classroom following the 2020 pandemic. I have served on leadership, literacy, and Freshman Academy teams. I played a part in introducing the new course Freshman Academy that emphasizes job readiness and essential skills. My passion for technology has led to my leading several professional development sessions and serving as an informal technology coach for my colleagues. I have been awarded teacher of the quarter twice, once during virtual learning (Spring 2020) and the second time in Fall of 2020. In an effort to support and embrace the diversity of our school, I also aided in the development and facilitation of a new student group, the Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA). My proudest accomplishment during this time would undoubtedly be the relationships I was able to build with my students. Show less

I also taught several cotaught and para supported classes and adapted my instruction to meet the needs of different IEPs.   As a Financial Management Technician for the USAF, I worked payroll primarily. I ensured member's military pay and leave was correct. I handled many pay issues, as well as updating member's accounts to reflect moves, reduction in grade, monetary punishments, promotions, and dependency changes. I also handled briefings over pay entitlements and reimbursements for travel. I have also received extensive training in budget and accounting for appropriation of Air Force funds.   I was responsible for testing samples of pool water to determine the chemical composition of the water to ensure swimmer safety. From the water analysis, I would advise customers on what chemicals were needed to maintain a proper balance of pH, Chlorine, Copper etc and then sold said chemicals to customers. I also worked on the equipment associated with swimming pools, such as pool cleaners and water pumps. I also troubleshooted issues people had with their pools and equipment. After a time, I was promoted to "TEAM2" (Teaching Everyone About Making Magic) where I conducted the initial training for new hires to ensure that the company standards were maintained and trained.
