Taylor is the type of person who loves analysis, investigation, and has a constant desire to uncover and study things to learn about their parts, what they do, and how they are related to each other. She’s one of those rare people who works very hard and diligently, but does so with a smile on her face. She constantly strives for excellence in leadership, but Taylor does not let her thirst for knowledge rule her life. She is very kind, with a genuine caring for others. It should come as no surprise that Taylor is well-liked and admired by her peers. Taylor was hand-picked to take on duties commensurate with a seasoned Non-Commissioned Officer, as an Airman First Class; due to her drive, diligence, and ability to assimilate quickly to any task; surpassing her peers and superiors. She flawlessly worked Financial Services Special actions, with emphasis in military separations and indebtedness to the Government. Even though she transitioned into this one-deep slot she still found time to support the relocations team with in-processing briefings and assisting in processing newcomer’s vouchers and military pay transactions. Also, if that wasn’t enough, Taylor was very active in the social activities of the Squadron. She would plan parties and morale outings for the Airmen and Supervisors. Did I mention she’s also an excellent cook and baker? Her cakes, dessert, and dishes she made for events or just to bring in were delectable and the talk of the entire building! Furthermore, Taylor is also an invaluable briefer, speaker, instructor, and facilitator. Her briefings and training sessions were always top notch. When she was scheduled to teach, you could guarantee she’d have a measured and concise presentation with excellent hand-outs. What I remember most about Taylor is her up-beat attitude. She was our

In my time with Knob Noster High School, I have taught Algebra and Geometry. I transitioned to a paperless classroom following the 2020 pandemic. I have served on leadership, literacy, and Freshman Academy teams. I played a part in introducing the new course Freshman Academy that emphasizes job readiness and essential skills. My passion for technology has led to my leading several professional development sessions and serving as an informal technology coach for my colleagues. I have been awarded teacher of the quarter twice, once during virtual learning (Spring 2020) and the second time in Fall of 2020. In an effort to support and embrace the diversity of our school, I also aided in the development and facilitation of a new student group, the Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA). My proudest accomplishment during this time would undoubtedly be the relationships I was able to build with my students. Show less

While working at the middle school, I taught 5th grade science, ELA, social studies, coding, technology, and behavior intervention. I worked to incorporate technology into all of the 5th grade classes and worked within a team to develop curriculum for different content areas, such as incorporating Prodigy into the math classes for intervention and practice. I also taught several cotaught and para supported classes and adapted my instruction to meet the needs of different IEPs. I was responsible for testing samples of pool water to determine the chemical composition of the water to ensure swimmer safety. From the water analysis, I would advise customers on what chemicals were needed to maintain a proper balance of pH, Chlorine, Copper etc and then sold said chemicals to customers. I also worked on the equipment associated with swimming pools, such as pool cleaners and water pumps. I also troubleshooted issues people had with their pools and equipment. I conducted Birthday Parties to include interaction with parents to coordinate timelines, special needs and requirements for special needs children while also performing the tasks of a traditional server or waitress. In addition, I also did periodic dances and interactions with children to ensure that they were having a perfect experience. I also worked as a cashier and handled hundreds of dollars in currency with 100% accuracy. After a time, I was promoted to "TEAM2" (Teaching Everyone About Making Magic) where I conducted the initial training for new hires to ensure that the company standards were maintained and trained.
