I co-taught this summer social program that uses the arts to foster self-esteem and encourage personal empowerment for at-risk girls, ages 11-15.I facilitated group discussions, supervised field trips, and developed arts-based educational lessons that addressed issues confronting girls.I collaborated extensively with the program director to find creative activities to help inspire the girls to increase confidence in their own voice.

Summer Camp Teaching Assistant / Weekend Front Desk Receptionist

While working as a front desk receptionist, I was hired to assist with the museum's preschool summer day camp programs. In this position, I moved to a weekend receptionist role and worked at the camp during the week. I supported the teacher with lesson implementation and helped the preschool campers with all types of themed art and science activities.

Upon completion of the volunteer program, I was hired as the museum’s front desk receptionist. As a receptionist, I sold memberships, maintained exhibits, and supervised museum interns/volunteers.
