Bio
Stefan Linnhoff, PhD.
I have the great pleasure to write this recommendation for honor student Taylor Chadduck to endorse her in her ongoing pursuit of internship & job opportunities as well as academic growth. Since Taylor’s freshman year I have had the pleasure to be her mentor for the marketing field. In light of her incredible intellectual potential I offered her to become involved in research projects. The collaboration with her has been most delightful. Our collaboration has borne fruit in the following academic works: - Linnhoff, Stefan, Murphy Smith, Taylor Chadduck, Taylor Chadduck & Jiaqian Zhou (2016), "Understanding Consumer Transcendence Among Millennials: A New Construct And Scale," under journal review; - ditto, International Conference of the Allied Academies (March 30 - April 2), New Orleans, LA. In terms of these PRJs one should note: although the lion share of the work on these PRJs is done by me as the first author, Taylor has distinguished herself as an incredibly diligent contributor to the literature review as well as the creation, pretesting & fine-tuning of the data collection instrument. To have a PRJ & academic conference paper on record is very rare, indeed, for undergraduate students & is a tell-tale sign for Taylor's academic talent & brilliance. Taylor has shown exceptional diligence & willingness to learn, excel, & succeed. She has an incredible 3.96 GPA (as of SP16). At the conference of Allied Academies she proved her great communication skills by presenting the paper most excellently receiving unconditional praise by the attending faculty. Taylor belongs to that rare species of student belonging to the cream of the crop. A notion, fellow MSU faculty undoubtedly would subscribe to as well. Taylor is always driven to go the extra mile & get the job done right. However, she defies common top-notch student cliches: she clearly is neither a withdrawn introvert nor an aloof or pretentious
