- Meet with individual students who need a supportive and quiet environment to calm down, problem-solve, or develop healthy coping strategies through the use of mindfulness, deep breathing, restorative conversations, etc.- Consult and collaborate with Program Support Staff, the Program Coordinator, and/or the agency's mental health therapist on how to support a student's development of self-regulation strategies, identify possible triggers for dysregulated behavior, and implement various de-escalation strategies.- Aid in the implementation and evaluation of structured social and emotional learning (SEL) curriculum and its effects across 16 afterschool program sites as it relates to the agency's Multi-Tiered System of Support for Behavioral Health and Wellness (MTSS-B).- Facilitate SEL training for newly hired staff through the agency's onboarding process as well as present related topics during agency conferences.
