Taylor interned with VIAVIs operations and supply chain team during the summer of 2021. As soon as he was on board, Taylor quickly began learning a variety of new software applications including Teams, SharePoint, Visio, and Tableau. He used these to create a new site to organize our ERP training content, map out our customer service management processes, and create two new dashboards to monitor customer account creation and track spend and delivery performance across our supply chain. He prepared PowerPoint summaries for each project which he then delivered to senior staff. Taylor's project mentors were impressed with his diligence and professionalism. As his sponsor, I was impressed with the quality and depth of work he completed each week. He created his own schedule and managed his time well across a number of projects and learning activities we assigned. I also want to mention Taylor performed extremely well despite the entire internship being conducted over MS Teams, demonstrating his ability to collaborate with team members remotely across multiple sites and time zones. Taylor will be an excellent candidate for any organization looking to bring on new talent with high potential!
