Coming into SMEC Power and Technology as a second year apprentice, I have gained a wide array of knowledge about the manufacturing of electrical starter, distribution boards and substations for the industrial and mining industry. After completing my apprenticeship in 2021, I stayed with SMEC and enhanced my abilities by taking on more responsibilities within the workshop, including mentoring apprentices and the designing of electrical switchboards.
