Executive Director of Green Mountain United Way which proudly serves the the Caledonia, Essex, Orange, Orleans and Washington Counties of Vermont. The United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. In addition to overall management of agency, specific areas of focus include: Health- Work to increase the health of all individuals by addressing the social determinants of health, including food insecurity and the effects of poverty, through collective impact projects.Education-Promote a high-quality accessible system of care and education to ensure the success of all children and youth through partnerships with Promise Communities, Flourishing Communities and Building Bright Future Councils. GMUW Programs:Working Bridges- Working across sectors, we improve business and job stability bringing innovative practices to employers and employees by using the workplace as a platform for human services. Tatum's Totes-In partnership with Tatum's Totes, GMUW coordinates this backpack program supporting children entering emergency foster care in the Barre, Newport, St. Johnsbury DCF district offices and provides support to the Morrisville District. K.E.E.P. Financial Coaching- Financial Coaching is an emerging practice that helps clients learn to set and achieve their financial goals.
