IT Technician

IT Technician - Permanent Full Time Position from 31 April 2015I have seeked an IT position for a long time since i finished my courses and starting of with MATRIX i have grown and gained a lot of knowledge during the period i have worked with the company. I started of in the head office at the technical support counter where i worked with clients face to face. I did troubleshooting and fixing hardware and software related issues on IT units such as PC, Laptop, Printers and Networking Units. My skills and quick eye got recognized by higher management within a month and a half where i was then placed in the Warranty Department to do troubleshooting and fixing of items from all the MATRIX Warehouse franchises and branches across South Africa. Other than PC, Laptop, Printers and Networking Units i also worked with Electronic Units such as UPS’s, Tablets, Phones, LCD/LED Screens, PC Component Testing.I do a lot of fault finding on items, if a unit cant be fixed as it is a factory fault it then gets send to suppliers after i have tested the item. I feel that i play a very important role in this position and i am still working with MATRIX up to date
