It is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Tatyana McRae. Ms. McRae was an intern for New River Community Action (NRCA) during winter break both in December 2018-January 2019 and returned for a second internship in December 2019-January2020. While in service to NRCA, Ms. McRae performed a variety of public relations and communication duties and support services to NRCA and programs. Ms. McRae assisted with development of volunteer instruction flyers for several programs, recruitment flyers for Head Start enrollment and VITA volunteer tax services, as well as attending program activities/community outreach. Her work was always with precision and attention to great detail. She was reliable and dependable, providing quality final products. Ms. McRae was motivated, worked independently and required little supervision. Ms. McRae has been a joy to work with and we truly appreciate her volunteering as an intern for our non-profit. I recommend her for any professional position she may seek. If you have questions or need for further information regarding Ms. McRae, please do not hesitate to contact me at swest@nrcaa.org. Regards, Sheila West Communications Specialist New River Community Action
