  I assisted in research of students who were participating in a Marine Biology course in BAJA, CA. I helped over 15 students collect and analyze data as well as formulate conclusions on a variety of different projects. I lectured on one topic of interest and hosted study sessions 2 times a week.   I worked with a team collecting, processing, and analyzing data on Eelgrass, Zostera Marina, in the Morro Bay Estuary. I studied labyrinthula wasting disease to further the understanding of how climate change affects benthic environments. After collecting the samples for our study, we processed them using PCR quantification and Petri dishes to measure growth. I used Bioimaging and graphed the results to further understand our data.
