Working for an industrial refrigeration company, I was primarily responsible for their Purchasing functions. I sourced industrial equipment, created the purchase orders and followed up for timely delivery, keeping the service technicians informed of materials and parts ready for customer distribution. I managed a high volume of Accounts Payables weekly in Quickbooks Enterprise Pro. There was a high capacity of maintianing numerous clients and job files. New clients had to have congruous information in QuickBooks, the Excel database, Job Order numbering system and in the manual files. A very exciting part of the position included processing the bi-weekly Payroll. It involved accounting for 100% of the technicians time, recording the service reports, billable hours, non-billable hours and the materials to be charged to the jobs orders and reordering the expendable materials and supplies. Our customers were Invoiced montly reflecting the service provided in the form of labor, materials and parts sales as well as separate bid jobs. I was responsible to maintain the customer job files that included marrying the purchase orders, documentation, bills and invoices, ensuring open orders were not confused with completed work.
