  CoSE is an organization connecting and creating 'Bottom-Up' and 'Top-Down' approach towards environmental sustainability projects across Europe. As an umbrella organization, its aim is to expand knowledge and awareness of today’s biggest climate change challenges. It does so by supporting cooperation between international, national and regional initiatives aiming to address the Sustainable Development Goals set out by the United Nations, and by providing these initiatives with a voice at European level. • To create a platform with existing sustainability initiatives that allows education, business, civil society and others to connect with each other. Today, there are ample single-standing initiatives across Europe that do not necessarily have the capacity to cooperate and communicate with each other. This island mentality limits the impact these projects could have. Our platform could be the tool for knowledge and innovation to be shared across Europe. • To act as a representative body for national and regional sustainability projects at European level, through advocacy, promotion and funding support. • CoSE’s vision is to create lasting positive change and support Europe’s transition towards a low-carbon society. It believes that a fusion between modern technology, education, policy-making, and communications are the most useful strategies to achieve this ambitious goal. • Reaching the goal of this transition requires cooperation between a wide range of sectors. For example, the agricultural sector will not be able to increase its sustainability without cooperating with the energy sector, the technology sector, the retail sector, and others.
