      Participation in the research project: "multipliCités". This research project is a prospective contribution to support urban renewal and new urban designs from an energy point of view and focused on the built urban forms and their materiality at three nested spatial scales: the urban district, the building and the building envelope. This research project aims at assessing building and landscape devices toward the mitigation of urban heat island effects, inducing pedestrian thermal comfort as well as energy saving potential for buildings. I perform dynamic simulations of the microclimate and thermal energy transfer in buildings in the urban scale of the district of Montaudran Aerospace, in Toulouse. Financial support: ADEME.       "Modernização e ampliação da área de energia da Usina Ciência da UFAL: Vida auto-sustentável." I participated in the research and design process of a popular housing unit following the principles of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, located in the energy science laboratory of the University of Alagoas (UFAL). The project also contributed to the multimedia diffusion of these principles. Coordinated by Prof.Tania Piatti and financed by FINEP.
