Visiting PhD research student in the MSI research group of prof. Ruth Andrew, Centre for Cardiovascular Science, Queen's Medical Research Institute, University of Edinburgh. The four-month internship was focused on gaining knowledge of MALDI-mass spectrometry imaging workflow and implementing an orthogonal mode of separation, ion mobility, to imaging experiments on a project analysing lipids in atherosclerotic plaques.
