I volunteered as an intern for AP Architecture through Wolverhampton University. I was tasked with producing a model of an archived project using Revit and this strengthened my 3D modelling skills. In addition, I spent time with the proprietor and architectural technologist explaining some of the protocols and British Standards involved in BIM implementation which included an understanding of BS1192 and PAS1192. Fundamentally, this job entailed similar responsibilites as an Interior Designer for the company (formally known as Burnham Associates). However, the progression of the company adapting to a Design & Build dynamic enabled me to increase my skills on a technical level for commercial build. Subsequently, upon graduation I took lead on several design schemes for workplace projects including refurbishment of call centres and re-design of leisure spaces, reception areas and meeting rooms in corporate headquarters.

    • Administrative Assistant

Working for my father's building company enabled me to gain practical exposure to a construction based environment within the domestic side of the design industry. The most valuable experience I have gained has been my involvement within the administration side of things; aiding in general running of the company and liaising with clients.
