A practice of 5 doctors and 1 nurse practitioner. I assist in providing quality patient care to individuals who reside in nursing communities, such as, assisted living centers and nursing homes. We currently serve patients in Tulsa, Bixby, Broken Arrow, Owasso, Sand springs, and Ponca City. We operate just like a doctor's office. Our patients, their loved ones, and their nursing staff can call our office for all of their needs; prescription refills, schedule appointments, or any questions that may arise. When it is time for an appointment, patients do not come to our office to be seen; we come to their home. Our goal is to provide the personal attention patients deserve from their family doctor in the comfort of their home. Show less

A very busy primary care group. I worked with multiple doctors including 3 internal medicine and 3 family practice. Upon starting with Omni I was a Primary MA for one of the internal medicine doctors. I roomed all of her patients which included taking historys, verifying medication lists, checking for refills, checking recent labs, taking vitals, and getting the patient/room ready for any procedure. I was also responsible for handling all of her refill request from patients and pharmacies, all faxed that came in from outside sources and was the "middle-man" for all of her patients calls that came in. Over the three years of working there I voluntarily learned new duties and took on tasks that needed to be handled such as ordering supplies needed and putting them away upon arrival. I became the clinic phlebotomist, I drew blood on patients of all ages, processed lab specimens, and prepared specimens to be sent to the lab. I also took responsibility for all autoclave cleaning and maintenance, learned how to process referrals, and how to check patients in while handling monetary transactions. Show less
