Modernized technology platforms through a Cloud and mobile-first strategy. Moved our Line of Business application off physical infrastructure at a co-location facility to a completely cloud-based infrastructure on AWS Gov Cloud, using AWS regional DR strategies. 30% reduction in cost versus physical infrastructure. Reduced cost of AWS Gov Cloud implementation over 40% by using AWS tools to monitor usage and make adjustments. Deployed a new iOS and Android app for Member Self Service, with an updated Web Portal to match the User Interface experience of the Apps. Implemented a VoIP solution to replace an aging PBX system Prioritize Cyber Security from the ground up, in all areas of technology, from the Cloud implementation to the mobile apps and the web portal. Developing a comprehensive cyber security plan, and ongoing vulnerability assessments. During the past several years I've completed projects including moving our Dynamics Accounting application to the Microsoft Azure, implementing DocuSign, Security Auditing and Penetration testing, among others. During a 3-year systems implementation project at SamCERA, I pushed the organization to use agile project management methodologies. I convinced the systems vendor adopt agile methodologies for their team, for our implementation. Together we were able to complete a 3-year $10 million project on time and on budget, a rarity for technology projects. • Develop overall yearly organization and IT strategic plans, determining project deadlines for each fiscal year. Work closely with CEO and executive management during planning stage. Create IT strategic plans and present to board. • Develop and implement yearly multimillion-dollar budget, never exceeding budget limits. • Lead all major IT projects. Develop RFPs, evaluate vendor submissions, and work closely with selected vendors on design and functionality. • Negotiate favorable contracts with vendors, including long term multi-year contracts.
