  WALKABOUT: Slave Island was a collaborative creative project funded by Groundviews, an award winning citizens' journalism website based in Sri Lanka. The project took the form of an audio slideshow in 12 parts - brief showcases of personalities from the sprawling urban slum of Slave Island. Its aim was to raise awareness on the issues facing the inhabitants of the slum as a result of government-led plans to forcefully re-house them.
