International Higher Education Teaching and Learning Association (HETL) is a US based non-profit organization. HETL Country Delegates are educational leaders who represent their countries/regions to the global higher education community. HETL's collective mission is to transform higher education both globally and locally. Country directors’ role in HETL is informal and intellectual. • Collaborated and contributed identifying various educational issues/challenges along with organizing relevant initiatives and promote effective solutions. My recent contribution to this effort, a short essay that got published in HETL frontiers, title: Educational Institutions and Their Commitment to SDG: A Private University Perspective from Global South. ERASMUS+ HARMONY is a collaborative project of six European and Asian universities. This is a four-year project based on the Internationalization at Home concept and geared towards kids who lack access to global knowledge and skills. As the senior project management officer some of the key duties I performed: • Extensively reviewed and analyzed curriculum and good practices across the globe to identify the scope of work for further the internationalization strategies for the supporting universities in the project. • As a part of establishing an innovative mechanism for further internationalization, we as a team came up with the idea of establishing a virtual student hub aiming to create space for internationalization activities where students would be able to share their knowledge and practices of sustainability and entrepreneurship with their peers across the globe Show less

The Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh is responsible for research and training academics and closely works with the senior leadership team (Vice Chancellor and deans) for making various policies, and strategic plans for the University. As the director, I: • Led system analysis to develop multi-level models for strategic teaching practices at ULAB, resulting in the creation of a policy brief for strategic development. • Collaborated with faculty and administrators to design and develop educational programs and courses that meet specific learner needs while aligning with institutional goals and standards. • Trained academics on how to handle students' use of online tools while offering original responses when tested. BRAC is an international development organization based in Bangladesh, also renowned as the largest NGO (in terms of the number of employees) in the world. BRAC Education Programme (BEP) works to make Education for All (EFA) in Bangladesh. Currently BRAC education program runs 13,800 BRAC pre-primary, 22,791 primary schools. At my roles as the consultant I: • Designed some interim teaching-learning strategies (using work sheets and a specialized learning app for example) and materials for the children to use at home. I taught an undergraduate education major course called “Digital Technologies in Contemporary Classrooms” (DTCC) that focuses on the use of technology for teaching and learning for Pre-Service Teachers (PSTs). Since 2011 the course received dissatisfactory review by the students and hence was in order for review. Two coordinators and 5 tutors (myself is one of them) were engaged to improvise the course curriculum and teaching-learning practices through a flipped classroom model. Reviews were much positive compared to the earlier semesters along with findings for further improvement. At the end of the semester we published our findings as a journal article. Save the Children International at that time Save the Children USA had an informal primary education program called SHIKHON (English meaning Learning) which had roughly five thousand schools. These schools were run by local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) supervised, monitored and supported by Save the Children USA. As the Senior Program Officer I, • Conducted various need assessment and learning assessment studies both qualitative and quantitative to identify avenues for further improvement. For example, I conducted a number of learning assessment surveys to identify competencies where students needed more support. Learning materials such as teachers guide were prepared on the basis of the findings. • Build and maintained relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners, and community leaders through solving various technical and project relent resource relevant issues.
